Pat Schlapper

My name is Pat Schlapper. I grew up in northern Wisconsin and have been obsessed with fishing for as long as I can remember. It started with panfish, walleye, pike, musky and trout. In seventh grade I met a friend who got me introduced to tournament bass fishing. I quickly became obsessed with it and began focusing all my attention toward it. I started having a lot of success in local tournaments throughout high school and college. After college in 2006, I began working full time for Scheels All Sports buying and selling tackle. I continued fishing tournaments and decided to try to qualify for the Bassmaster Elite Series in 2020.
I left my full time job and committed to the Eastern Division of the Bassmaster Opens. I also had qualified for the 2020 Bass Nation Championship by winning the 2019 Northern Bassmaster Regional. I went on to win the Bass Nation Championship on Pickwick Lake in November of 2020. The win not only qualified me for the Elite Series but also the 2021 Bassmaster Classic. I also finished third in points for the Eastern Division of the Opens to double qualify for the Elites. I am now going into my third season on the Elites and qualified for the 2023 Bassmaster Classic.

PRO-STAFF FEEDBACK

Ben Melo

My name is Ben Melo and I am a tournament angler from Kingston Ontario. I compete in the Renegade Bass Tour Series. I spend the whole summer fishing big water and long hours sometimes by myself so I need equipment I can rely on. Last year I was fortunate enough to join the team at Lynac Lithium and started using their 60ah true series batteries for my 112lb Ultrex. These batteries are incredible!! The first thing you’ll notice is the weight. 3 of these 60ah batteries weigh less than 1 of the group 31 batteries I was using. The power in these batteries seem to be endless. I’ve used them on everything from small back lakes to the big water of Lake Ontario to fighting the rushing current in the St. Lawrence river. I’m usually on the water for 8-14 hours a day and I’m pretty heavy on the trolling motor pedal when out prefishing. I’ve never been able to run them dead despite my best effort. I could probably fish for 2-3 days or more on a single charge and not worry about them leaving me stranded. If you only have a few hours between outings and you want to top off your batteries, that’s not a problem either. Just plug in your charger and within a few short hours your batteries will be full and your ready to go. Anyone thinking about upgrading their old lead acid or AGM batteries will not be disappointed with Lynac Lithium batteries. They’re a Canadian company offering incredible batteries at a great price!! If anyone has questions please feel free to contact me anytime and I’ll do my best to answer them.

Colin Hunter

Great Lakes specialist, Colin Hunter runs his equipment hard and requires nothing but the best when it comes to quality and performance. When you expose your equipment to Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, and Georgian Bay, you need to know that the equipment you are using can handle the harshest of conditions, and Lynac Lithium’s batteries have passed that test with flying colours! “The batteries have been through hell and back numerous times, and keep on proving just how awesome they are!” The setup: Running 3 60ah batteries for the Lowrance Ghost trolling motor and 1 100ah battery running 3 12” Lowrance screens and active target transducer. The endless power of these batteries is second to none at a price that can’t be beaten. Canadian-made, Conor Lyon supports Canadian anglers like no other!
